Heather Wickens, Project Coordinator for the Canal Corridor Association at Illinois & Michigan Canal, spoke about the Smithsonian's Museums on MainStreet Program. The smallest of the Smithsonian's traveling exhibit programs, Museums on MainStreet brings Smithsonian quality exhibits to small-town America. Heather shared how the Canal Corridor Association worked to bring the exhibition "The Way We Worked" to one of the counties within the I&M Canal National Heritage Corridor.
